Join us for a series of Level Up Challenges.

First challenge - 

Monday, August 2nd at 8:45 am. Hike to inspiration point. We'll gather at 8:45 in the parking lot of Will Rogers Park for a prompt departure at 9:00 am. Bathrooms are available. Reminder: Bring water, sun hat and sun glasses. 

From the bottom up, learn the techniques used by millions to “Level Up” their health and fitness. From small applicable changes to your daily routine to pushing the depths of your own mental, physical and emotional strengths. Explore tools used to integrate your entire body and develop rotational movement, mobility, coordination, and core strength promoting rhythm, timing, and coordination between the left and right brain. Researchers found that finding a new exercise companion increased the amount of exercise people did. This was increased even more when the new partner was emotionally supportive. Join fellow BHWC members in a supportive camaraderie exploring our own inner warrior woman.

We won’t be trying to beat Wim Hof’s record for being submerged in ice water but we will be meeting every couple weeks for a new adventure. Hiking, fitness, movement, breathwork, dance, meditation, balance, aqua yoga, weight training and more.

Join Cindy Leuty Jones, author of the award-winning book, DOABLE: Little Decisions That Will Transform Your Life. Cindy has studied or is certified in Iyengar Yoga, Animal Flow, weight training, breath work (former respiratory therapist), aquatics, surfing, paddle boarding, kettlebells, rope flow work, bo staff training and other methods.

What to pack in your adventure go bag or backpack:  swimsuit, rashguards, swim shorts, walking shoes, flip-flops, sunscreen, hat, sunglasses, granola snack and a filled water bottle.
